July 1937.• Graduation and Post Graduation from
KGMC Lucknow.• Trained in Transplantation in Australia.• Set up the Department of Transplant
Surgery at PGI Chandigarh.• Pioneered cadaveric transplantation as well
as introduced the donor card

• Trained over 25 transplant surgeons and was responsible for setting up of more than fifteen transplant centres
• Published more than 86 indexed publications.
