Purpose of the STaR ChartThe Texas Campus STaR Chart will help campuses and districts know:

•Campus’ and district current educational technology profiles;

•The evidence provided to demonstrate their progress is meeting the goals of the Long Range Plan for Technology; and

•The areas your campus and district should focus on to improve the level of technology integration to ensure the best possible teaching and learning for all students.

The Texas Campus STaR Chart can be used:•To create and/or update the district’s technology plan; helping to conceptualize our campus or the district vision of technology;

•To set benchmarks and goals;

•To measure student and teacher proficiencies with regard to the integration of technology into all content areas;

•Document progress towards meeting No Child Left Behind, Title II, Part D requirements for technology literacy for students and teachers as well as technology integration across the curriculum;

•To apply for grants and determine funding priorities; and

•To track progress on use of No Child Left Behind, Title II, Part D formula and discretionary funds.
