The difference between Bookkeeping and Accounting In bookkeeping you are busy with the

accurate recording of all the transactions of a company or department.

You make sure that all income and all expenditure are properly recorded.

The difference between Bookkeeping and Accounting At the level where your job becomes

more complicated, because you are also reporting and analysing the business financial information, we start calling it Accounting.
