VISION STATEMENT 2010(Submitted to ICN GNLI 2010)

My personal vision of where I would like nursing and health services in my country to be (or look like) by the year 2016

Nursing and health services in the Bahamas will become known for quality and excellence services, throughout our Commonwealth. Professionalism and academic

excellence will be the benchmark by which nursing and health services will be valued and respected. It is my belief that as nurses and women becomes more involved in politics in our countries, we will discovered the benchmark where effective nursing

leadership will become the vehicle that will influence and shaped standards of nursing practice and health policy in our respective country. By the year 2016, nurses

will become the only voice that speaks with authority on nursing matters.Rosemarie L. Josey (Mrs.)
