"There is a village named Ponugondu in Huzumagar taluq of Nalgonda district. There were elections for local grain Bank and all the seats were contested and elected by the local Kisan Sabha. This provoked the reactionary fuedai elements of the village who were whole and sole monopolists pf the above grain Bank. So the above fuedals wim t e collaboration of taluq congress leadership began the plana f goondaism against the elected members of the above grain Bank. They broke into pieces the fumitwe and other articles of Mortyecars^9^$yy a ^ oo! with them some of the books and board af the horary, AH the candidates' houses who have been duly elected were raided by the above congress volunteers on the same night, Some of the elected candidates and their relatives have been severely beaten and

one of them is severely injured due to musle loader firings. Bolsettu Biksham and others are some of tne above volunteers who have got licensed musle loaders. N o w it is said tnat the police instead of arresting the above goondas are searching the present grain Bank members' houses. It is also said that some of them have been also arrested by the Police. The police is under the local fuedals; interference. This is not the single instance; we have represented half a dozen times about these attrocities. There is every possibility of recurring Dharmasagar incident here also. So it is a definite matter of urgent public importance and should be discussed here in the Assembly today on 25-8-1954".

This matter can very well be discussed at the time of our taking up the Appropriation Bill. As per Rule 175 of our Assembly Rules, this motion cannot be admitted now, I therefore disallow the motion.
