How to Recover iTunes Backup Password

I used iTunes to back up my iPhone on my computer for avoiding data loss,

and encrypted the backup to protect it, but I was totally frustrated when I forgot

the backup password. Luckily enough, I’ve successfully recovered my iTunes

backup password with the help of an app named iTunes Password Genius, and

here’s how I make it.

Step 1: Download the mentioned app on computer.

Step 2: Install it following its setup wizard, and run it.

Step 3: Open the iTunes backup file in the program.

Click the top-left Open button, select the encrypted iTunes backup file

automatically found and tap OK in the pop-up window, as shown in the picture

below.

Step 4: Start recovering iTunes backup password.

Choose a password attack type, change its settings of range, length and other

options, and then hit the Start button, referring to the following photo.

Step 5: Wait for the password recovering process to finish.

After these five steps, you can see from the following picture that my iTunes

backup password was recovered with success.
