• There are heaps of how to videos on youtube for the making of broomstick lace.• My tip for the making of the lace is to use your knees…I found managing the

needle & the hook way too tricky.

• Make your foundation chain.• I chained 15 & used 3 groups of 5 loops for my lace.

• I completed a row of double crochet (US single) before I began the broomstick lace. This is for stability.

• Complete your swatch of broomstick lace. • You might need 4 rows if you’ve got a little wrist or 5 or more. Just make sure it’s snug around your wrist.

• I added a row of double crochet (US single) after I finished my broomstick swatch. Again, for stability.

• Fold your cuff in half so that the two ends meet.

• Now just slip stitch to join the cuff.

• Use a large tapestry needle to weave in your ends.

• Turn in the right way, wear & enjoy
