The below are the topics that am going to explain about

Basic Introduction Differences Types Mechanism and Working Conclusion

What ?How ??Why ???Where ????

History of Gun . In 1836, an American, Samuel Colt

patented the first revolver mechanism that led to the widespread use of the revolver.

Most amazing, yet brutal discovery of 19th Century.

A revolver is a repeating firearm that has a revolving cylinder containing multiple chambers and at least one barrel for firing. The term "revolver" refers to ahandgun, but other weapons may also have a revolving chamber. These include some models of grenade launchers, shotguns, and rifles.

Revolvers usually hold six shots. The ATF defines a pistol as any handgun that does not contain its ammunition in a revolving cylinder. Most pistols have a removable magazine into which bullets are loaded. The magazine is then inserted into the hollow handgrip of the gun.

Apply explosive pressure behind a projectile to launch it down a barrel.

Complete mechanically operated machine

A combination of a projectile (the bullet), a propellant (gunpowder, for example) and a primer (the explosive cap), all contained in one metal package.

Lets move in depth

Initially, the trigger lever pushes the hammer backward.

As it moves backward, the hammer compresses a metal spring in the gun stock (the handle).

At the same time, the trigger rotates the cylinder so the next breech chamber is positioned in front of the gun barrel.

When you pull the trigger all the way back, the lever releases the hammer.

The compressed spring drives the hammer forward.

The hammer slams into the primer at the back of the cartridge, igniting the primer.

The primer sets off the propellent.

The exploding propellent drives the bullet out of the gun at high speed.

Gatling Gun- Most older and popular design.

Fully automatic machine gun use the power of the cartridge explosion to reload and re-cock the gun after each shot.

There are three basic mechanisms for harnessing this power:

1)Recoil systems 2)Blowback systems 3)Gas mechanisms

A locking mechanism holds together the barrel and the breach bolt.

Bolt and the barrel can move freely in the gun housing

When the trigger is pulled, the sear releases the bolt, and the spring drives it forward.

After the bolt chambers the cartridge, the firing pin sets off the primer, which ignites the propellant

The Zig zag revolver is a 3D printed .38 Revolver made public in May 2014.  It was created using an $500 plastic 3D-printer used, the name of the printer was not revealed by the creator.[41] It was created by a Japanese citizen from Kawasaki named Yoshitomo Imura He was arrested in May 2014 after he had posted a video online of himself firing a 3D printed Zig Zag revolver. It is the first 3D printed Japanese gun in the world which can discharge live cartridges.[

The explosive gas from the cartridge drives the bullet down the barrel. At the same time, the gas pressure pushes in the opposite direction, forcing the bolt backward.

Similar to Blowback system.

The main addition is a narrow piston, attached to the bolt, that slides back and forth in a cylinder positioned above the gun barrel

In order to protect from criminals and wild animals and other aspects which may be harmful to us .

Especially these are legal in military services where we protect our country from foreign invaders.

Machine gun had been one of the most important military developments in the history of man. It has been the reason behind the fall of many nations, repressing revolutions, overthrowing governments and ending wars.

Gun manufacturers are continually adding new modifications to machine guns, but the basic mechanism has remained the same for more than a hundred years. Some of the modern machine guns can be fired using a remote control.
