Cut blanks 1/4” Thick

Carefully drill hole in center.If it’s not centered you will have

trouble opening the hinge.

1/8” Drill bit.

Use a #1 blade and cut thehinge on the pattern line.

Round over the hinge and insert a 1/8” wooden dowel.

Notice I did not get the holecentered well in this hinge.

Trim the dowel a little long.

Apply glue on each endof the dowel.

I’m using ½” thick wood for the box soI trimmed the top of the hinge to fit the top.

Notice I sanded the dowel flush witheach side of the hinge.

The hinge is glued to the backand top of the box.

The glue is probably enoughto hold the hinge in place butyou could counter sink small

brass screws for a better hold.
