Chapter1:TheRealityofAntibiotics

THEPURPOSEOFANTIBIOTICS

Syntheticantibioticsareutilizedtotreatbacteria-causedbodilyinfections.They work against fungi, parasites, and bacteria; however they areineffective in the elimination of viral infections. Each antibiotic fightsagainst either anaerobic bacteria or aerobic bacteria; aerobic bacteriarequire oxygen to survive while anaerobic bacteria don’t require anyoxygen.

HOWDOANTIBIOTICSWORK?

Antibioticscomeinawholerangeofshapesandsizesandareutilizedforavarietyofmedicalpurposes.Generally,however,syntheticantibioticsworkinoneofthefollowingtwoways.1.Theyworkasabactericidal.Abactericidaleliminatesbacteriacompletely.ItworkstoalterthebacteriacelloneitheracellwallleveloraninteriorcellDNAlevel.2.Theyworkasabacteriostatic.Abacteriostaticforcesthebacteriatostopmultiplying.

THECURRENTSYNTHETICANTIBIOTICCRISIS

Themediaisblaringitacrossallspeakers.Theworldisinamiddleofanantibiotic crisis. Bacteria are increasingly resistant to the syntheticantibiotics doctors throw at them, resulting in a new ultimate affront ofbacteria.Aseachnewbacteriumevolves, newsyntheticdrugsmustbedeveloped to compete with them. How, exactly, does this happen soquickly?Essentially, bacteriaaresomeofthemostadaptableorganismson the planet. Their reproductive rate is only twenty minutes—whilehumans wait a full twenty years, usually, before reproducing.Furthermore, each reproduction results in a new evolution. These newstrainsofbacteria canalso teachother strainsofbacteriahow tobuildthemselvesupagainstotherstrains.Andhowlongcanthisgoon?Themedical world understands that the days of synthetic antibiotics arecoming to an end. People must begin to prepare themselves for thisabruptfuture. One of the reasons this antibiotic crisis emerged is because medicaldoctorsoverusedandover-diagnosedseemingly“miracle”antibioticsforseveral years. Penicillin, the miraculous antibiotic that annihilatedcountlessdiseasesinthemid-20thcentury,providesaprimeexampleofthisover-diagnosis.Itwasdiscoveredin1942;however,lessthanahalf-century later, fortymillionpoundsofpenicillinwasutilized in theUnitedStateseverysingleyear.Today, oversixtymillionpoundsofpenicillin isusedeveryyear, renderingitselfultimatelyuselessinthecomingcenturybecause of its over-usage. Bacteria, as aforementioned, can formulateitself against this onslaught of antibiotic. Soon, this over-usage ofpenicillin will surely result in tragedy as the bacteria work against thedrug.Furthermore, researchshowsthatsyntheticantibioticsenterandexitthebody generally unchanged. This means that they work through thedigestivesystemandintothegreater“water”oftheworldwithoutaltering. After thewater cleanses itself via thewater table processes, thewaterstill maintains low levels of this antibiotic “waste.” Therefore, even aspeople drink regular water, they are still building a small resistance to

theirantibiotics.Ultimately, theseantibioticswon’tworkasefficientlyonthese people because the bacteria in their bodies already understandhowtoworkagainstit.Of course, stemming the usage of synthetic antibiotics in the currentcultureprovesdifficultwith the rush-aroundmentalityofsociety.Peoplewanttoeliminatetheir illnessesimmediately,andwhocanblamethem?Noonewantstofeelterrible.Noonewantstomissoutonlifebecauseofsickness. Synthetic antibiotics are invaluable because they act quickly. They are powerful in all life-threatening illness situations. However, societymuststemtheirusageof thesesyntheticantibioticsandreservethese antibiotics for life-threatening scenarios. They must limit theantibiotics’ recent attack on the environment, as well, via the watersupply.Furthermore, theseantibioticsmustbeeliminated in theirusageto build strength and health in factory farm animals. The syntheticantibiotics do have a purpose, and they were created for a reason.However,thesereasonshavebeenstretchedtocovernearlyeverythingintheworld,renderingthemnearlyuselessintheyearstocome.Furthermore, with each dosage of the synthetic antibiotics, people’simmunesystemsimmediatelybegintobreakdown.Theimmunesystemisanincrediblemechanismthatinitiallyallowsapersontorefuteattacksfrom bacteria slowly. However, synthetic antibiotics actually enter thebody and kill both good and bad bacteria. They kill, for example, theundeniablyimportantflorafromthedigestivetract.Thiseliminationofthefloracanresultinthingslikeyeastinfectionsandun-dueupsetstomachs.Rememberthatthebodyrequiresacontinueddefenceagainstconstantattacks, and eliminating these good bacteria initially creates a blandenvironmentinwhichonecanbecomeimmediatelymoreill.Synthetic antibiotics require a specific “course” for people to follow.When,forexample,apersonbeginsanantibioticbutdoesnotcompletethedesignatedcourse,thepersonleavesafewheftybacteriaaliveinhissystem. These left-over bacterium actually work to regenerate to the“next generation” of surviving bacteria, thus having the ability to beresistanttotheveryantibioticsthatoncecouldhavetakenthemdown.

The antibiotic crisis creates a vicious cycle of stronger and strongerdrugs, of stronger and stronger bacteria, and of weaker and weakerimmunesystems.Peoplemustbegin to look to theultimate rewardsofutilizing herbal antibiotics in order to escape from the cycle and fuelthemselvestowardbetteroverallhealth.

SYNTHETICANTIBIOTICSIDEEFFECTS

Synthetic antibiotics are becoming increasingly ineffective against therealmof bacteria. However, antibiotics further push several unfortunatesideeffectsthatcanbeavoidedwiththeusageofantibioticherbs.1.VaginalYeastInfectionAsmentioned in theprevioussection, theusageofsyntheticantibioticsactuallyeliminatesallthe“good”bacteriafromaperson’sdigestivetract.Asthegoodbacteriaslidesawayfromthedigestivetract, theyeastcanbegin to grow rampant in the vaginal and digestive arenas. Thisimbalance between bacteria and yeast results in the yeast infection. Ayeast infection includes embarrassing and uncomfortable elements likeredness,swelling,itching,andaburningsensationinthevaginalarea.A2013antibioticstudyshowedthat twenty-fivepercentofallwomenwhotooksyntheticantibioticsactuallydevelopedyeastinfections.2.Nausea,Vomiting,andDiarrheaEach digestive tract must maintain a healthy dose of good and badbacteria inorder tocreateproperdigestion.Syntheticantibioticsdisruptthis balance and cause diarrhea. According to a recent study,approximatelyfifteenpercentofallantibioticusershaveantibiotic-relateddiarrhea.3.MedicationInteractionSociety’sconstantclamourformoreandmoremedicationscanultimatelylead to interactions between the variousmedications. Side effects thatresult from these interactions include headaches, stomach aches, andfurther serioushealthproblems.Furthermore, other syntheticantibioticscanactuallyreducethebody’sabilityofproper functioning.Anexampleof this is found with the usage of some oral contraceptives. Othersynthetic antibiotics can hinder the contraception and result in anunplanned pregnancy. It is important that people keep a constant

dialogue with their doctors about the medications they take to ensureproperfunctioning.4.UndueHypersensitivityorAllergensSeveral patients report having allergic reactions to the syntheticmedications they take.According to a 2011 study, approximately thirty-two percent of drug allergy cases were caused by antibiotics. Theseallergens are seen physically on a skin level with the appearance ofrashesorhives.Other,raresideeffectsinclude:kidneystones,sunsensitivity,feelingsoflossofhearing,andoccasionalabnormalbloodclotting.

Chapter2:HerbalAntibiotics:HistoryandUtilizationHerbal antibiotics, on the other hand, hold none of the negativepropertiesof theaveragesyntheticantibiotics.Butwhy,exactly,doesn’tthebody’sharmfulbacteriaresisttotheantibioticpropertiesoftheherbs?Certainly,ifthebacteriaultimatelyresisttheantibioticnatureofsyntheticantibiotics,they’llresistthenatureoftheherbalantibiotics.Won’tthey?Thesupremedifferencebetweentheherbalantibioticsandthesyntheticantibioticsisintheirevolution.Plantsandherbshavelearnedtosurviveseveralmillionyearsofdisease-causingfungi,viruses,andbacteria.Thevarious plants andherbs havedevelopeda systematic complexity, onethat isoverwhelming to theaveragebacteria.Syntheticantibioticsdon’thave such a complex structure. Instead, they operate with single all-mighty ingredients that eventually underwhelm the bacteria and arebasically “eaten up” with the incredible evolutionary abilities of thebacteria.Withtheingestionoftheseherbs,thebodytakesinallthecomplexityoftheherbsandplants.Becauseof thiscomplexity, theherbshardlyeversimply kill the bacteria. Instead, they work to strengthen the immunesystem; they cleanse the blood and improve the organ functionality.Herbs,therefore,arenotattack-oriented.Instead,theybuildthebodytogreaterheightstoallowittodefeattheorganismitself,thusallowingittolearnhowtodefendandthusperpetuatestrengthforfutureattacks.

PRODUCTIONANDPROFITS

The utilization of one ingredient in the normal synthetic antibiotics is aresult of patent and financial purposes. Modern researchers work tounderstand one single, strong ingredient and then claim it to grab allnecessary financial rewards. Since the first utilization of the syntheticpainkiller,morphine,in1805,society’slooktowardherbalremedieshasfallendramatically.However,it’simportanttonotethatpeopleinsecondand third-worldcountriesoften look towardherbalantibiotics inorder tohealthemselves.Withoutthe“rewards”ofafirstworldsociety, theyfindtheirstrengthgrowingfromtheearth.Themodernmedicinemovement is creating a fearful culture, one thatlookstothefutureoflackofeffectivesyntheticantibioticswithfeelingsofloss.Thisculturelookstotheherbalantibiotic ideaswithcynicism;afterall, doctors and in-depth surgeries and modern tools are the norm.DocumentariesandTVdramasfindtheirbasisinhospitals.Mixingafewherbs in the garden can be deemed a bitmedieval, a bit out-of-touch.However,recentstudieshaveshownoreganooiltobestrongerthanoneofthestrongestantibioticsintoday’shospitals,Vancomycin.

HERBALANTIBIOTICHISTORY

The history of herbal medication orients itself in Europe, where theportraitofwomenhoveringoverboilingpotsofherbswasquiteanorm.Thethirteenthcentury, however, displacedthesewomenwithgraduatingmedical doctors. In fact, the French word for herb, “drogue,” wasessentially utilized for the chemical word, “drug,” in the later centurieswhenthesesamemedicaldoctorsbegancultivatingtheherbstoactuallydevelopsyntheticantibiotics.

Chapter3:Immune-SystemStrengtheningHerbsThe immune system is a hummingmachine of complexity.
