AAAA s you may have heard Cadel Evans is an Aus-tralia hero because he
won the Tour de France. Even though it might not be that important there are 180 people in the race just to win this cycling race in France it’s impossible to win. The tour de France winner is the boy from northern territory born there and has the Aussie blood. The man won the yellow jersey in the second last stage which was stage 20. He was second last in the time trial and came 7 seconds behind the HTC rid-er called Tony Martin who is a fol-low opponent that is one of the best riders in this race. Another opponent called Andy Schleck who had the yellow jersey at that time came 15th and lost to much time to Cadel. Ev-ans feeling good had a 1 minute 34 seconds lead over Schleck which meant he had one the Tour de France and he was the first Aussie to win this race, and he was nailed to his seat at the end of stage 20. All he said was “I’m stoked”. The Aussies thought this man is a insane guy be
cause he was 54 seconds behind Andy Schleck then he got in front by 1 minute and 34 seconds. With all t he riders in the tour de France and he won it! The past few years he had shoulder problem and then that made him stop in that year then he just moved on even though he had the pain. In the other years he had come second of team Lot-to, in 2006 Evans also was named Australia cyclist of the year which is a big award for him but not any more because he just won le Tour de France at the age of 34 and riding for
Cadel Evans going around one of the chal-
lenge’s in his career before wining the Tour de
France.

DDDD ean bailey’s fate was set on that
Sunday night at the time of 8pm.
As every stared straight him with
all black faces. Then the Melbourne football
club thought that Dean bailey would be sacked
after the Geelong vs. Melbourne match because
of getting smashed 233 point Geelong to the
Demons 47 points. The board thought that his
poor form would cost him the coaching roll for
the Melbourne football club. His past few
rounds for the Demons have been the worst he
has ever coached for the Demons.
A lot of the Melbourne fans disappointed for
the veteran coach and player. But a lot said that
its time for a change and see what’s new for the
Melbourne football club. Now all supporters
want to know from the board is who is going to
be the new coach? And if he would go any bet-
ter than Bailey or he would just end the season
with a roll of losing streaks? They where lean-
ing towards Todd
Viney who has
played for the Mel-
bourne football club
and his son plays for
Casey scorpion
which is the Mel-
bourne football
clubs VFL team and
is current in a good
position. The other
contender would
have be Mick Malt-
house with the most
talent of all of the
coaches because he
led the Collingwood
football club to a
grand final and still
coaching well. An-
other one would
have to be Garry
Lyon because of his
