1. Assess what you do like about your role

•There is always something that you like about what you do. Make a list of what and rate the percentages of how often you get to do them in an average week.

• Focus on the tasks that you do like and could lead to what you really should be doing.

• Apply the same strategy as you did before and write what you don’t like, then rate it with a percentage as to how often you

perform that task on average each week.

2. Write a list of what you don’t like

• Think about how much of this is necessary and how much you do because you

have not really thought about how to change the

situation.

• Can you delegate some of these tasks to someone else

or get them outsourced?

3. Now crunch the numbers

• Figure out how many of the things you love to do can make you money.

• Assess how you could do more of what you like and replace the other tasks with other roles.

• Once you have created a timeline and revenue forecast, assign roles to the tasks you don’t like - particularly the less profitable tasks.
