Mount Rushmore

Mount RushmoreMount Rushmore is a Famous American Landmark from the state of

South Dakota. One of the most important carvers was an Italian

immigrant named Luigi Del Bianco. He studied the art of carving in

Venice before moving to the U.S.A. when he was only 18 Years old.

Celebrating with Family:In the United States, many people move far away from their parents when they enter adulthood. Thanksgiving is an important time to bring family together again and to give thanks for all of the beauty in our lives and the world.

Traditional Native American PracticesBecause the relations between the Native American peoples and European and white settlers is very sad, we decided to learn about the beautiful traditional culture of Native Americans instead.

Many Native American people live in South Dakota today. They dress the same as everyone else and they live in the same houses as everyone else.

On special occasions, Native Americans honor and practice their traditional culture and spirituality, as seen in this video.
