Rockcastle Shooting CenterSouth Central Kentucky is home to the ultimate shooting destination resort in the United States.
Rockcastle Shooting Center is the newest entity of the Park Mammoth property comprised of approximate-ly 2,000 acres. The Shooting Center offers a 12-station Sporting Clay course set among the wooded ridges and valleys of the historic area and a 5-Stand course that overlooks a scenic cattail pond.
Additionally, Rockcastle has Rifle Ranges from 50 out to 1,000 yards and beyond, multiple Pistol Ranges and a 20 station 3-D Archery course set across our diverse terrain. A permanent Cowboy Action shooting town has been fabricated, complete with five Old Western facade stages.
The Rockcastle Shooting Center is host to a variety of local, regional, National, and International shoot-ing competitions. There are over 60 plus shooting events scheduled in 2012, including inaugural matches for I.D.P.A., USPSA, and Scholastic Steel Challenge and many more.
Rockcastle’s dedicated staff of pro-fessional world class instructors of-fer, Sporting Clays, Personal Defense courses, Beginning and Advanced Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun Marksman-ship, Hunter’s Education, Kentucky Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons classes, Ammunition Reloading, Archery, and Wilderness Survival training.
The Center is also used by the gun industry’s top manufactures for re-search and product development.
