Why did you go there?
The La Mesa Watershed is the last forest in Metro Manila.
It is the source of water for over 12 million people in Metro Manila.
La Mesa Eco Park was started in 2004 to preserve and protect the watershed. It is
a place for children and adults to learn about and appreciate the beauty of nature .

What is a watershed?
It is nature’s water tank-a natural place where
water is surrounded by trees.
The trees help to prevent soil erosion. If the soil is washed into the dam, there would be less water for us to drink.
