I trained for two years. This is the water training.
This is the plane where I did the zero gravity training.
Floating in the airplane is fun!
It’s a tight squeeze in the rocket ship!
I am in my astronaut suit, learning to use the controls.
This is the Russian spaceship Soyuz
coming to the launch pad.
The day is finally here - October 1, 2005. …5, 4, 3, 2, 1 blast off!
It took two days for the Soyuz to get to
the International Space Station.
I am doing a lot of experiments.
I am getting ready to return to earth after 10 days at the space station.
I visited Lebanon Borough School, and talked about my trip to the Space Station.
