PROJECT STATEMENT

Greenpeace has been an international organization that uses peaceful campaigning to support environmental conservation, as well as preservation of endangered species, since 1971. Today, there are over 2.9 million supporters worldwide with offices in 41 countries. Greenpeace is based out of Amsterdam and is dependent on dontations from their supporters to empower their campaigns.

Humans are increasing the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases trap heat, that should radiate back into the atmosphere, causing global warming. Carbon dioxide is the leading GHG emitted into the atmosphere through the burning of fossil fuels including: oil, natural gases, as well as coal.

Use strong infographics to simplify the process and effects global warming has on us today. These graphics will clearly represent current statistics to create a greater impact on the audience.

Greenpeace will send out direct mail campaign posters to Universities across the United States in hopes of seeking new supporters. Greenpeace will greatly benift from reach-ing out to obtain new supporters, especially in the target audience of college students. These posters will encourage young adults to: join local communities to shut down dan-gerous coal plants, advocate for strong laws to curb global warming and advocate for clean energy solutions.
