National Institute for Visually Handicapped (NIVH) at Dehradun is a
pioneer in providing livelihood skills to visually handicapped individuals. TARA
Machines has provided them with the Technology, Machinery, Know - how and
Training forPaper and Product Making. At the institute, waste brail paper is recycled to

opportunities for AIDS effected women. Unskilled women had many difficulties
finding gainful employment. With the help of TARA PaperMek Recycling Systems,
these women are recycling waste paper and converting it into office stationary products
which are treated asprized possessions in the offices ofAmbuja Cement.
Corporations use TARA PaperMek Recycling Systems to provide opportunit ies forgenerating employment to underprivileged groups and communities. NGOs across the

Then place the handmade paper sheet in the tray
filled with water and crumple it in water itself.
Take the paper out and after straightening, put it
for drying to get the stonewash effect.

Templates for simple products are provided with
every technology pack. Use these to get the
appropriate folding and cutting lines on your sheet of
paper. These lines will be similar to the pattern givenabove.
Fold along the lines and finally paste the edges
together. Leave the top edges intact, asthere are holes
provided for inserting arope to handle the bag.
