WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR?

G-Talks!!!

A brand new component of the Guidance Counseling program.

A weekly student/homeroom advisor led discussion on issues that students typically face here at ISM.

Held almost every Monday (sometimes Wednesday) during your homeroom advisory period.

A chance to discuss the concerns you have at ISM and develop/share strategies to help each other.

G-Talks!!! – Talk about what??? How can you best adjust and be successful at changes in life?

Do test scores define you? Should you become what your parents want you to become?

Is anger always a negative emotion? When can anger become a problem?

How can I better organize myself?

G-Talks!!! – To be successful??? Your enthusiasm to contribute to discussion.

Your willingness to share the valuable insight you have with others.

Your desire to let us know the issues you feel we need to discuss.
