Google calendar is on your iGoogle page.

When you open Google calendar you will see the current week and events. In this view I have a personal calendar, a classroom calendar and events that are linked from other calendars.

Click on Manage Calendar to open this window so that you can create new calendars.

Click on Create New Calendar to set one up. If you want to share this calendar with other people add them here.

The mobile setup will send you a text message about an up coming event. You can also have an email sent.

Use the General Calendar Setting to setup time zone, language, day start, etc.

To share the calendar with someone enter their email, it does not have to be gmail. Then set permission level. The calendar can be published and embedded in a wiki or blog for public viewing.

To enter an event simply click on the date, then edit event details.

Once you are in the event details you can name the event, set the time, where the event is, which calendar it will be added to, any notes about the event, how you want to be notified, and which guests are to be notified.

Google has links to public calendars, so if you want to follow the campaigns or the Red Sox, they are just a click away
