In search of Hydrographic Surveyor

You undertake & manage marine costal and inland waterway surveys, or offshorepositioning of offshore construction/offshore windfarm vessels.This includes :

preparation and planning installation of modern survey equipment calibration & verification data collecting & daily field reporting processing & provisional final field reporting

You provide support for other (ongoing operations)You give advise or instructions on geophysical/hydrographic mattersYou make sure Vessel safety procedures are known and followedYou make sure that all operations are carried out in a safe way

What do we expect from you?

degree in survey related discipline, hydrography and geology.a first experience in surveying for national charting purposesgood knowledge & skills for data processing and interpretation of relevantdatause of QPS QINSYgood knowledge & skills of modern survey methods and equipmentbasic safetytraining (STCW95 is a plus)driving licenceflexible work attitude, ability to work as part of a teampositive teamspiritmethodical, flexible with excellent attention to details
