What is Generosity Rocks?

• Generosity Rocks is a fundraising tool for New Jersey District Key Club.

How does Generosity Rocks work?

• Each participating Key Club will host a musical competition at their school (ex. battle of the bands or American idol style)– Money will be raised through ticket sales,

merchandise and refreshments.• Each participating Key Club will choose a

winner via audience choice or judges choice

How does Generosity Rocks work continued…

• There will be semi-finals in the North, Central and South Jersey. This is where the winners will compete to earn a spot at the finals.– Money will be raised by ticket sales,

merchandise and refreshments.• Winners will be chosen by judging panel

How does Generosity Rocks work continued…

• The three winners (one from the North, Central and South) will go on to perform at the finals– Money will be raised by ticket sales,

merchandise and refreshments.• The winner will be chosen by a judging

panel.

Grand Prize for Generosity Rocks

• The winner of the Generosity Rocks competition will have the opportunity to perform at the Welmont theatre as the opening act for….

Purpose of Generosity Rocks

Excite!

• Generosity Rocks will serve as a new exciting fundraising program to help New Jersey District Key Club reach their fundraising goal for 2010-2011.

Renew!

• Generosity Rocks will serve as a new way to invigorate the passion behind the 2010-2011 District Project.

Build!

• Generosity Rocks will serve as the building blocks to creating a New Jersey District Key Club signature District Project event.

When would Generosity Rocks begin?

• With your help, Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation will unveil the new signature event at New Jersey District Key Club Convention with the help of local band “Between the Lines.”

What would CSHF do to help?

• Provide the participating Key Club with:– Collateral (sample flyers, press releases, etc.)– T-shirt Design– Event tutorial
