OZAT® CFV SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGYThe CFV range is Ozonia’s latest development of generators formedium-sizedozoneapplications.Thedesignisbasedonfeedbackfromhundredsofoperatorsand includes the latest technology toensurecontinuousoperationatfull-loadinindustrialenvironments.A feature of the larger units is the fused dielectric tubes whichmakes them particularly suitable for remote service in drinkingwaterplants.

An OZAT® CFV unit is integrated from the ozone generator, thepowersupplyforthehighvoltagemediumfrequencysupplytothegenerator,PLCcontrol,processrelatedcontrolequipmentandskidinterconnections.ThePLCsystemandoptionalbusensuresflexibleoperationandallowsintegrationintoalltypesofplantconcepts.

HOW IT WORKSOzone,thetriatomicformofoxygen, isgeneratedbyrecombiningoxygenatomswithoxygenmolecules.Thisprocesstakesplace inthegapbetweenthedielectriclayeronthehighvoltageelectrodeandanearthelectrode in theozonegeneratorvessel.Whenhighvoltage isappliedtothisarrangementasilentelectricaldischargeoccursinthegapwhichexcitestheoxygenmoleculesinthefeedgasflowingthroughthegapwhichcausesthemtosplitandcombinewithotheroxygenmoleculestoformozone.
