Tue, Nov 18, 2014 7:30 PM – 9PM EASTERN This training will reexamine the issues of “inclusive” language for planning worship, sermons, liturgy, song and prayer. All members, participants, leaders and clergy are invited to attend and learn more about why and how of introducing the less known biblical and orthodox images of God to congregations and communities. In training participants will:

• Examine Biblical names and descriptions for God

• Understand existing United Methodist attitudes about language

• Introduce a new related Bible Study for classes & small groups

• Craft intentionally inclusive language while using proper grammar

• Write and share short examples of orthodox but nontraditional prayers and liturgies
