• Gandharv is a tool designed with a vision to bridge crea(ve gaps for music enthusiasts by making collabora(on easy.
• Its aim is to provide a collabora(ve environment that can assist in effec(ve and efficient music composi(on.

• Informal personal technologies for different forms of conversa(on such as instant messaging on desktop computers and text messaging are widely being accepted, but there is s(ll liBle evidence of new means of informal musical interac(on being supported and fostered.

Findings The following are the findings of the study that helped us in designing a detailed architecture of our applica(on: • Co-‐Presence is an important aspect of collabora(ve music
composi(on. • An ar(st must iden(fy the capability of his team while
composing in a group. • Feedback while composi(on is an important step of
collabora(ve composi(on. • The ar(sts must understand the blueprint of the song. • Applica(on should be simple to use and self-‐explanatory. • Advanced Search and Recommenda(on System should be
present. • . To give ease to user, automated backup feature should be
included.
Findings contd… • Ar(sts get fascinated from an applica(on by the effects and
special features it has. So the UI and audio effects should be of high quality.
• Form of Music comes with a set of conven(ons to be followed. The applica(on must assist the ar(sts in understanding and abiding by these conven(ons.
• As phone calls and emails s(ll are among the major forms by which sharing happen, so the applica(on must provide that support as well.
• Features like automated scaling, tempo altera(on, karaoke conversa(on, mixing facility, nota(on iden(fica(on, audio interpreta(on must be provided
