President’s Message . . . Larry Patton
Welcome to February and all it has to offer in the shortest month. We of course have Valentine’s day so don’t forget your sweetie. On the 20th is President’s Day when we celebrate all of our past presi-dents. Do you notice things in commercials? When you see the Life Alert one, watch very closely and take note that the mother uses a Defi-ant key to open grandma’s house. Wow, some security! Or have you ever watched when they pick a lock and there’s no bolt on the door edge? Oh, ohh, how about using two rake picks to pick a lock? It even gets better when they kick in a door and it does no harm to the jamb? And have you ever noticed that there are no out opening doors? Give me a break! Education for February: How good is a lock? Come see the RIP-OFF demonstration where we will see what it takes to rip locks off a door. Wayne from Southern will also have something. February is also election night. At the moment all positions are run-ning unopposed. Larry Patton for president (one year), Johnny Cook for 1st Vice-president (two years), Aaron Cook for 2nd Vice-president (one year), Ken Kupferman for Treasurer (two years), and for Board-Sid Rose and James Green (one year). If you wish to run against any of these people you may still volunteer. The only re-quirement is you have to have been on the board in some position to run for president. Come on people, let’s make it a real election. Oh, there is one more condition, your dues must be paid for the cur-rent year. Thanks for taking the time to read, Larry Patton
