After years of raping the riverside it is time for those who profited from it and perpetuated it to clean it up--with their money! The dredged sediments need to be completely removed from the area and taken to an appropriate disposal dump, not by the river. The idea of a "monitored natural recovery" is not acceptable. It needs to be cleaned up now. Help return this important waterway to its healthy self so that we ALL may benefit, not just saving a dime for the large corporations that polluted it in the first place! Many years of planning talk has passed. It is time to act decisively--for the river. And for us.
