Raspberry and Blackberry: sister and brother who are both seem really similar.

Lemon and Lime: sister and brother who like to copy other people because they are unsure of themselves.

Wise Mandarin:an old wise and experienced tangerine that helps lemon and lime to discover new things about themselves

On day, Raspberry and Blackberry were trying to decide what game to play.

+

Than Lemon and Lime came along.

+I would choose Charades. I like

to act.

+ I would choose Monopoly. I like to roll the dice.

+ We’ll choose Chutes and

Ladders. We like to shuffle the

cards

+Lemon and Lime

ignored each other for the rest of the day and played with their

own friends.

While Lemon and Lime were walking home, they argued

+Why can’t

you be more like

me Lemon?

Why can’t you be more like

me Lime?

+ Children children, why must you argue? From all my years of experience, I, Wise Mandarin, know that arguing never pays off.

But we just want to be like Raspberry and Blackberry!

+They

always agree on

everything!

And they are always

having fun!

+

Children, just try to be yourselves. You don’t have

to always be the same. Tomorrow, why don’t you,

Lemon, hang out with Raspberry.

Okay.

And you, Lime, hang out with Blackberry?

+

Okay.

+

And so they walked home, anticipating

the next day.

And they went to bed happily

The Next Day…

Do you and your brother like all

the same things? And do you always get

along?

No. For example, my favorite book is Cinderella. My brother hates fantasy, especially Cinderella. And one time, we argued so

much that we didn’t speak to each other for a week.

Its hot. Lets go to the beach.

+So do you and your

sister always get along? And do you both like all

of the same things?

+No, of course not!!! Once I

got so mad at her for splashing water on my

painting that I ripped a page in her favorite book,

Cinderella. And I love surfing, and she thinks its dumb.

I love surfing!

+

That’s cool! Hey, its really warm. Lets go to the beach

and surf!

So Lemon and Lime had the time of their lives,

and they now understand each others

differences.
