TRANSCRIPT

Here I am using the colour select tool and the levels tool to emphasize the shadows and highlights of my image.

The spot healing tool allowed me to get rid of any blemishes or spots on my models face.

I have used the blur tool to blur her chest and around her face, this will make her face stand out which is what people look for on a magazine main image.

Here I am using the eraser tool to rub out the background that surrounds my models head so it looks like she is in front of the masthead.

For my magazine I have used online fonts, this screenshot shows me looking for a font to download for my barcode.

This is where I have placed the barcode, but because I did not think to add it when I startedconstruction, I am not able to fit it where I would want it to be ideally. Also, I don’t know if thecolour is right as the colour behind it is also quite dark.

Here, I have improved the erasing of the backgroundso it looks neater as before, I rubbed too much out and you could see some of the masthead over the topif my models head.

I used the dodge and burn tool to make parts of the image brighter and darker, for example I made the white of her eyes brighter so they stand out more and darkened parts of her face where the light reflection was too harsh.

Here I have changed the image as the last one was out of focus, but I have still used the same tools as before on this image. I have changed the spacing between the text as I thought it was too far apart and made it look like they were separate cover lines.
