‣  NYCDOE has partnerships with universities. The fellows are selected participants in one of the leadership programs at a city or state university.

2.  Leaders in Education Apprenticeship Program (LEAP)

‣  This is a one year program for current teachers and Aps that include a five week super intensive; weekly evening session, and an apprenticeship with your current principal.

NYCDOE (Alternate) 3. AP Leadership Institute

‣  This program is for APs to transition into role within three years. Monthly class session, quarterly school visits, and an individual plan.

4. NYC Leadership Academy/AAP

‣  Program to support those with leadership experience to successfully lead low-performing schools in NYC.
