FREDERICK BURKET
Frederick Burket was in Greene County, Tennessee by 1810 when he appears in a tax list
owning 100 acres on Waters of Lick Creek. He is enumerated as "Burkhart" in the 1830
Census, age 70-79, with a wife, age 60-69. In the adjacent household was Isaac Burket, age
30-39, who is presumed to be Frederick's son.
Frederick is shown in the 1835 Greene County Pensioners List as age 82. He probably died
before the 1840 Census. In 1840, Frederick's presumed son, Isaac, lived in Rhea County, age
30-39. In 1850 Isaac Burket lived in Hamilton County, Tennessee, and in his household was a
named son, Frederick, age 19.
