What is the illness?

Malaria is a disease to produced by “protozous”.

In the world there’re 400 millions cases every year and it is the cause of death the more million persons.

Where is this illness?

The place more affect of malaria is the African continent.

How you get the disease?

• The animal who transmits malaria is a female of mosquito.

• The process affect the red balloons.• This process can finish with the death of the

person.

What are the signs?

• The first stage: The people have shivers. Vomiting, headache and retch.

• The second stage:

High temperature

• The third stage:

Sweat a lot

What can we do to prevent the illness?

• They have to wear clothes “llarga” for example jeans…and the colors of the clothes are bright.

• They don’t have to put perfumes.

• They have to put insect repellent.• They have to sleep in the closes rooms with

mosquito nets.• Before to go in Africa they have to inject the

malaria vaccine.

What is the illness?

Is an infectious disease produced by a virus, called VIH.

The first cases were found between the homosexual communities of San Francisco at the beginning of the 80s.

The AIDS virus is present in fluids of the patient, such as the saliva, the semen or the secretions.

Where is this illness?

You can find the AIDS all over the world but the place most affected is Africa.

How you get the disease?• The infection takes place only when the

concentration of the virus is sufficiently high • The contagion takes place when the virus enters

our blood flow.• The most probable things that can infect you are:

blood transfusions, drug taking, sexual relations, from mother to son....

What are the signs?The virus acts tremendously slowly until we start

to become ill.

• First stage:- Fever- General discomfort- Muscular pains- ...

• Second stage:⁻ Our defences have diminished and we start not

being capable of facing infections or other processes.

What can we do to prevent the illness? ⁻ Use latex condoms.⁻ The users of drugs, must not share needles, and

they must use a new needle sterilized the old needle for every injection.

Where is this illness?You can find tuberculosis all over the world but the

most affected place is South-Africa.

How you get the disease?• It is transmitted by respiratory tract. • The person with tuberculosis eliminates the

microbe in droplets of saliva on having coughed or sneezed.

• This microbe can be inhaled by a healthy person who is in frequent contact with the patient of tuberculosis and this way be contagious.

What are the signs?• Cough and expectoration for more than 15 days• Weakness and constant weariness • Loss of weight • Fever• Night Sweats• Pain in the chest• Cough with blood • Loss of appetite

What can we do to prevent the illness? • The infected person must be protected by using

disposable handkerchiefs. • Hand washing after coughing.• Suitable ventilation of the place of residence.• To clean the house with damp cloths.

• To use masks in common zones.• To restrict your visits if you aren’t exposed to the

disease.• To guarantee adherence to the treatment.• To be vaccinated
