1. Come to class prepared Instrument (mouthpiece, reed, valve oil,

etc...) Music binder w/ All music "EE" and "Foundations" books Pencil and highlighter Ask & sign-out if you need to leave.

2. Be in your seat, ready to play at:

8th Grade Band1st: 8:00 – 8:392nd: 8:45 – 9:24

We start class 2 minute after the bell & end class 2 minutes before the bell.

Rehearsal Procedure

Get supplies out right away after entering the band room.

Make eye contact when the teacher is talking.

Raise your hand to make a comment or ask a question

Put instrument and music away after rehearsal. Percussion cover/put away the last instrument you played.

2 Jazz Bands Jazz Band - Open to all instruments,

students 6-8 Jazz Ensemble - By audition, open to

(new student, lost, out-grown, etc...) 8th graders only fill out 3rd box Due by Friday, August 29th! Turn-In to RED (8th) or YELLOW (7th) Box

IMEA Registration Fun all-day band festival! One of the best bands you will play in! 8th Grade GLE/Level IV Attend the help sessions from 3-4pm

Tuba, Baritone, Trombone, Horn, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Bass Clarinet

You may use a school instrument instead of bringing yours back and forth to school, since it is rather large *This Is Optional

Return the instrument contract by Friday, August 29th!
