FIR against MayawatiLUCKNOW, July 22:

An FIR was today filed against Mayawati and some of herparty leaders by police on a complaint by the family of expelledBJP leader Dayashankar Singh whose whereabouts were notknown after he kicked up a controversy by questioning the charac-ter of the BSP supremo.

Singh’s mother Tetra Devi filed the complaint allegingMayawati used “abusive language” against the women members ofhis family and that the BSP leaders raised “derogatory” slogans atthe party protest in Lucknow yesterday in which his 12-year-olddaughter was also dragged into the row.(PTI)
