Next to Voight Hall (an all girls dorm) is the fraternity house for Phi Kappa Psi. They have a four year lease on the house from the FIJI graduate association. The FIJI nationals removed the chapter in 2008 due to the “animal house” atmosphere.

Next door is the Alpha Xi Delta sorority house. This sorority house is spacious and has a great back patio with a grill for events. Something about this house that is different from many other sororities at OU is that there are a few large rooms with bunk beds where the majority of the house residents sleep.

If you walk 10 yards further you will find the Chi Omega sorority house. The Chi O’s have the best cook on campus, Janet Smith! Janet loves making meals with red sauce, chicken, and mashed potatoes. The Chi Omega house also has a sunbathing deck.

Next to the Chi O house and across the street from the Athens parking garage is the Pi Beta Phi sorority house. The Pi Phi house is home to 53 young women, all of whom enjoy three home cooked meals a day from their own cook. The Pi Phi house is know for being nice, clean, spacious, and a little rowdy on the weekends.

The Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house is across the street from Pi Phi and the parking garage, located on the corner of College and E. Washington. The Sig Ep house has a overwhelming smell of stale beer, but that doesn’t stop partygoers from attending parties there on all nights of the week. The Sig Eps enjoy their own cook and a courtyard where many whiffleball games take place.

Across the street from Sig Ep on College St., is home to the men of Sigma Pi. Sigma Pi was inactive at OU from 1982 until 2010. Nationals for Sigma Pi began recruiting members in 2008 and have since rushed over 80 pledges and activated 50 brothers. They currently rent their house at 8 N. College. They recently put a Coca-Cola vending machine on their front porch so it’s a great place to get a quick drink on College St.

Across an alley from Sigma Pi and across the street from the Athens Police Department is the Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) house. Senior Conrad Ludwig lived in the PIKE house during his sophomore year. “When I lived there, there were no books. They were replaced by babes, more babes, and booze. I liked that.” The PIKE house is known for its rowdy parties.

The Sigma Kappa sorority house is located next to the United Campus Ministry. This sorority house is very nice and spacious inside. It is the only sorority on campus that allows sisters to paint their rooms. Many girls believe the house is haunted!

Next to the Sigma Kappa house is the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity house. The AEPi house is smaller than some of the other fraternity houses on campus but makes up for it with a huge wraparound front porch.
