Our  vision  and  goals      The   Student   Success—Winooski   &   Beyond   program   is   designed   to  provide  high  quality  enrichment  and  academic  support  opportuni5es  for   students   in   grades   K-­‐12   a%erschool   and   during   the   summer  months.        Program  highlights    Serving  the  neediest  students •  During  2013-­‐2014,  our  a'erschool  program  served  538  students  in  grades  K-­‐12—73%  of  the  student  body.

•  Our  2014  elementary  and  middle  school  summer  programs  served  over  150  students  in  grades  K-­‐8.  

•  Suppers  and  snacks  are  provided  every  day  to  all  K-­‐12  students  par$cipa$ng  in  a*erschool  programs.      

Providing  a  variety  of  program  ac2vi2es  Our   a&erschool   program   provides   a   wide   variety   of   enrichment  learning   opportuni-es   in   STEM,   literacy,   the   arts,   and   wellness.    Programs  include:    

•  Digital  Photography     •  Woodworking  •  Yoga   •  Math  Games  •  Videography   •  Art  Club  •  Lego  Robo)cs   •  Tennis  at  The  Edge  •  Read  Aloud   •  Catapult  A*ack  •  Jujitsu   •  Vocal  and  Instrumental  Music  •  Cool  Chemistry   •  Bo%le  Rockets  •  Strategy  Game  Room   •  Jr.  Iron  Chef  •  A$erschool  Book  Club   •  Manga  Book  and  Drawing  Club

All   21C   programs   are   taught   by   licensed   teachers   and   connect   to  school   day   learning   to   provide   well   planned   and   inten.onal  enrichment  and  academic  support  opportuni(es.

Our  funding    21st   Century   Community   Learning   Centers   funding,   school  district  funds,  and  city  funds  currently  support  over  85%  of  our  program   costs.     We   have   been   extremely   fortunate   to   have  school  district  support  over   the  past  12  years.    Addi+onal  state  funding  would  allow  us  to  expand  high  quality  summer  learning  programs   beyond   grades   K-­‐8   to   help   ensure   that   our   children  and  youth  thrive.
