What is Dengue Fever ?

Dengue fever is a tropical disease carried by several species of mosquitoes.

Symptoms

Common Symptoms are:

FeverHeadacheMuscle painsSkin rash Eye painBack pain

Treatments

There are no specific treatments for the dengue fever virus. Treatment depends on the symptoms. Generally, water is provided constantly to prevent dehydration. Fever remedy pills are given to lower the fever. These treatments are given until the platelet level is gone up, usually lasting around 2 weeks.
