FearlessFemmeseekstode-stigmatisementalhealthandbuildstrongerandmorefearlessmentalhealthamongyoungwomenandnon-binarypeople.

Fearless Femme support youngwomen, non-binary people, and anyonewho identifies as‘femme’toovercomestress,anxietyandmentalhealthissues.

Position along the SI Spiral

FearlessFemmelaunched inFebruary2018andareattheverybeginningoftheDeliver&ImplementphaseoftheSIspiral.

Relationship with HEI(s) (High Education Insitutions)

FearlessFemmewaspartoftheGoodIdeasincubatorin2017,receivingdedicatedsupportover a 8-month period to helpmove the organization through the early phases of the SIspiral.

Good Ideas is delivered in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University who provideconceptoversightandmonitoring&evaluationsupport.

The venture was started during the incubation programme and has since joined theprogramme Alumni and participated in various learning events while also received 1:1coachingsupport.

FearlessFemmegainvaluabledomainknowledgeofthesocialinnovationprocesswhilealsoreceivingone-to-onecoachingonspecificissues.Theyhavereceiveddirectsupporttoaccessfundingandwiththestaffrecruitmentprocess.

FearlessFemmehasreceivedinitialstart-upfundingfromtheEuropeanUnionandScottishGovernmentthroughtheSocialInnovationFund.

FearlessFemmeisprimarilyononlinecontentcreator.Theyproduceblogandvideocontentandwillsoonpublisharegulardigitalmagazine.

Unlike fashion and beauty magazines, which often make readers feel worse about theirbodies,FearlessFemmecelebratestheinnatestrengthsofyoungwomen,NBsandfemmes.Itfeaturesarticles,podcastsandvideosthatpromotepositivementalhealth.
