Important information…

When done with your Citrix desktop, please log off by clicking on the Start button, then “Log off”

The Citrix Remote Desktop is available 24x7x365; however, it is a shared resource. Due to the sensitive nature of the data in many applications, there is a 15-minute limit for “idle” sessions, and the desktop window will close.

An “idle” session is no mouse or keyboard activity, and the session will be “disconnected.” Your session is still running on a server, and can be reopened by logging in again, and your desktop will be as you left it.

If a session is “disconnected” for 6 consecutive hours, it will be logged off automatically. You may resume your work by logging in again, but programs that were running will have to be restarted. Open documents may not save edits since the last Save in the previous “disconnected” session. SAVE YOUR WORK OFTEN!

This “idle” session time-out policy has been set by Ascension Information Services, and cannot be changed.
