•Can´t find the right colour flowers for a lovely present?

Well, here´s a way to solve the

problem. Make them change

overnight simply by giving them a

drink.

•Things that you will need.

•Steps to make your experiment.

1. Fill the vases with water . Add a few drops of food coloring.Try with different colours.

2.Cut the stem of each flower diagonally. Then put some flowers in each vase.

3.Now leave the flowers to suck up the water.After twelve hours the water will change colour to match the water in the vase.

vase and food coloring (paella).

silver clothes coloring.

If a flower is put in colored water, then the color of the water will

show when it's drawn into the petals of the flower?

Flowers will draw water through the stem into the petals and the color will show up in the petals. Food coloring works better than clothes

coloring to do this experiment.
