George Hiller <georgeh@apcinet.com>Friday, January 4, 2013 2:14 PMKenny Sanders <kennys@apcinet.com>Ferrell Patrick <fpatrick@thepatrickcompany.com>RE: Bill Mixon

We have traded voice mails and e-mails today. He asked me to call him after 1:30 PM and I did call him at 1:45 but againhad to leave a voice mail. I can give you a better read on things after we talk. Also, I have asked him to work on a

meeting with his group for some time between Monday, Jan 14th and Thursday Jan 17th. As we discussed Wednesday,

our group will convene prior to the Medicaid meeting. We talked about 10th or 11th, but those dates may not be good

for Ferrell. Maybe we could get together on the 9th.

Let’s let the above run its course and decide how aggressive we need to get politically. Mixon doesn’t have a proposalas such from us. He is open to some of the things we have been talking about but I don’t think either side (us or him)can make a judgment just yet. I have talked to enough people to feel very confident that he has not sent out an RFP. Hestated that we would get the RFP if one goes out, provided we meet the CMS requirements. I don’t know what thatmeans but I will find out. So, I am calling him right now and will follow up with y’all in a few minutes.

George,

Ferrell said you were going to reach out to Bill Mixon, possibly yesterday afternoon or today. We’re just wondering ifyou have and what his stance seems to be?

I’m of the opinion that we can’t let the commercial PBM option go any further, so, if he is not very warm to our ideas, Ithink we are going to need to start working, politically, to douse any sparks.
