lesson begins and student achievement increases as much as 27%

• Give students a scoring guide or rubric to assess their learning and student achievement increases as much as 37%

• Give the Purpose for Learning

• When teachers SEE learning through the eyes of the student and when students SEE themselves as their own teachers, engaged learning happens.
