Today the fight is still not over

Only because no one stops to think about

Laws can be put up, but that won't change who these people are.

Traditional marriage would not be affected if Same-Sex Marriage was allowed. It will still be about the love between two people.

But still people choose to oppose it.

Even if Same-Sex Marriage can be done in Canada, it would not be recognized in certain parts in the U.S.

My own sister threw her dreams of marriage away because it would not be valid in our state.

Younger generations can be heavily influenced by all this.

Kids who have been swayed to oppose the idea of same-sex marriage have often become

bullies.

But there are those who wear purple on Spirit Day to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth that are or have

We should try to listen to each others sides instead of fighting or arguing whether

which side is right or wrong

Though we can’t tell people how to live their lives,

we can figure out what our silver lining can be and move on.
