INSTRUCTIONS FOR UPDATING WIKO WINDOWS 7

CAUTION! Before you begin the update of your phone, be sure to back up all your per-sonal data (save all your contacts in your SIM card and your pictures on your PC). The upgrade erases all data and resets your phone.

First disable the user account control by referring to the following link: http://windows.microsoft.com/fr-fr/windows/turn-user-account-control-on-off

Step 2: Launching the update software

1. Download the update at: http://fr.wikomobile.com/maj.php

4. Please tick the box « Create a deskop icon » in order to create a desktop shortcut.

Click on next to continue:

3. Run the installation software as administrator.

2. Extract the installation file on your desktop, as shown on the picture below:

At the end of the software installation, do not tick “Launch” yet (to avoid that the program launches automatically).

5. Launch the update software (icon on the desktop of your PC), by selecting Run as Administrator.

6. The driver installation will begin.

7. Please accept the terms in the license agreement and click on “Next”:

8. At the end of the installation, click on “Yes” to restart your PC.

Your PC will enter in Test Mode after rebooting. Go to step 3.

Step 3: Installing the update

1. Launch the update software by selecting Run as Administrator.

Then connect your powered on phone to the PC with a USB cable.

In the notifications panel on your phone, untick all USB connection options, so that the USB connection mode is ‘Connected as an installer’.

Please wait a few minutes that the driv-ers install correctly, before clicking on the ‘Download’ button.

You can check the progress of the drivers’ installation by opening the taskbar (little arrow at the bottom right of your screen).

Then click on the ‘Download’ button.

Step 4: Verifying the update

2. The update process begins …

3. The update is now completed, disconnect the phone from your PC and turn on your phone.

In order to check if the update was successful: 1. Please access the numeric keypad on your phone.2. Enter the following : *#*#563412#*#*3. Verify that you have the latest version (see the software installation version) in the

menu “Wiko build version”.

Congratulations! You have completed the update

Step 5: Disabling Test Mode

If you want to disable the test mode on your PC:

Please go to the Start Menu:

Then go to: Search programs and files

Open cmd with Admin rights:

And enter the following commands

bcdedit.exe –set loadoptions DENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS (press Enter to validate)bcdedit.exe –set TESTSIGNING OFF (press Enter to validate)

Reboot the PC and Windows will be loaded normally.

ATTENTION! Avant de commencer la mise à jour de votre téléphone, veillez à sauvegard-er toutes vos données personnelles (sauvegarder tous vos contacts dans votre carte SIM ou votre compte Google et vos photos sur votre PC). La mise à jour efface toutes les données et ré-initialise votre téléphone.

Étape 2: Lancement du logiciel de mise à jour

1. Télécharger la mise à jour sur : http://fr.wikomobile.com/maj.php

4. Veuillez cocher la case « Create a deskop icon » afin de créer un raccourci sur le bureau.

Cliquer sur « Next » pour continuer.

3. Exécuter le logiciel d’installation en tant qu’administrateur.

2. Extraire le logiciel exécutable comme sur l’image ci-dessous :

A la fin de l’installation du logiciel, veuillez ne pas cocher “Launch” (pour éviter le lancement automatique du programme).

5. Lancer ensuite le logiciel de mise à jour (icône sur le bureau de votre PC), en choisissant « Exécuter en tant qu’Administrateur ».

6. L’installation du pilote périphérique va démarrer.

7. Veuillez accepter les termes d’utilisation et cliquer sur « Next » :

8. A la fin de l’installation, cliquer sur « Yes » afin de redémarrer votre PC.

Votre PC va entrer en Mode Test après le redémarrage. Allez à l’Étape 3.

Étape 3 : Installation de la mise à jour

1. Lancer le logiciel en choisissant Exécuter en tant qu’Administrateur

Connecter votre téléphone allumé au PC à l’aide du câble USB.

Dans le panneau des Notifications du téléphone, udécocher toutes les options de connexion USB, afin que le mode de connexion USB soit « Connecté en tant que programme d’installation ».

Veuillez attendre quelques minutes que les pilotes s’installent correctement, avant de cliquer sur le bouton ‘Download’.

Vous pouvez suivre l’état d’avancement de l’installation des pilotes en ouvrant la barre des tâches (petite flèche en bas à droite de votre écran).

Cliquer ensuite sur le bouton ‘Download’.

Étape 4 : Vérification de la mise à jour

3. La mise à jour est à présent terminée, veuillez débrancher le téléphone de votre PC et l’allumer.

Afin de vérifier si la mise à jour s’est bien déroulée : 1. Veuillez-vous rendre sur le clavier numérique de votre téléphone.2 Composer le code suivant : *#*#563412#*#*3. Vérifier si vous êtes bien sur la dernière version (voir la version du logiciel

d’installation). Dans le menu « Wiko build version »

Félicitations! Vous venez de terminer la mise à jour.

Veuillez vous rendre dans le menu Démarrer

Puis allez dans : Rechercher les programmes et fichiers

Ouvrir cmd en choisissant Exécuter en tant qu’administrateur :

Et entrer les commandes suivantes:

Redémarrer le PC et Windows va se lancer normalement.

Step 2: Launching the update software

Your PC will reboot once more. Go to step 3.

Step 3: Installing the update

1. Launch the update software by selecting Run as Administrator.

Then connect your powered on phone to the PC with a USB cable.
