Welcome!
e are delighted that you have chosen to attend an Enrichment Mini‐Course at Carleton. Throughout its thirty year history, the mini‐course program has given thousands of students a chance to experience learning in a post‐secondary setting. As well, this unique event has given us the opportunity to showcase
Carleton’s academic programs and facilities.
Start the week at Carleton University by meeting your instructor! On Sunday May 6, 2011 at 1pm, 2pm, or 3pm sessions we invite students and parents to join us on campus for the Enrichment Mini‐Courses Program (EMCP) Orientation day. Students will meet their instructor outside in the TORY QUAD area and will then be escorted to their classroom for an orientation session. Please make note of your respective orientation time;
For courses 200 ‐ 217, your orientation session is at 1pm. For courses 218 ‐ 235, your orientation session is at 2pm. For courses 236 ‐ 253, your orientation session is at 3pm. Please note; in case of inclement weather, we will meet in the UniCenter “Galleria” Discover Carleton’s learning environment! We are delighted to
introduce you to our excellent academic programs offered in the friendly, informal atmosphere of the EMCP. We want you to feel at home with us as part of the Carleton family.
During your week at Carleton, you will have a chance to explore
and enjoy the University and its beautiful surroundings. To make your EMCP week memorable, each student will receive a commemorative EMCP 2012 Carleton T‐shirt. Also, on Wednesday at noon there will be a draw for prizes in the Quad area. These prizes will include Carleton collectibles and souvenirs. Finally, a certificate will be provided to students to officially close the EMCP 2012 mini‐courses week.
