Possible complementarities between KICs and the EIP

• capacity building in the health and care sector, e.g. skills

and training for care professionals and entrepreneurs concerning innovation dealing with comorbidity, frailty, homecare, gerontology, polypharmacy;

• new curricula for health and care professionals;

• spreading innovative best practices based on the existing ones identified by the EIP process

Caregivers Education Basics - Romania

• Promotion of care-giver and care-receiver wellbeing

in the area of Dementia

• Training programme / elearning/ certification

• Reduced re-admissions to acute hospitals / Reduced use of medications / Reduced unavoidable visits to primary care physicians

1) Promote health, prevent disease and foster supportive environments for healthy lifestyles

2) Protect citizens from serious cross-border health threats
