Analyzing the quotient of ease of doingbusiness in India i.e. assessing the hurdlesbusinesses face and the procedures that haveto be followed while doing business in India.

India’s rank in ease of doing business

In 2014 : 140

In 2015 : 142

Net change = -2

The fall in rank is not due to fall in India’s performance in this regard, instead it’s a result of improvement in other countries’ performances.

For promoting entrepreneurship in India, it isquite necessary that we improve our ranking(ie;158 ) in ease of starting a business.

It still involves numerous procedural delaysand formalities which discourages a personin taking up an idea.

Time required to complete all formalitiesrelating to starting a business takes around 28days in India and due to delays it may takelonger.

Whereas in countries like UK, US and NewZealand, time required to start a business isonly 6,6 and 1 days respectively.

This tells about the reason why these countrieshave been successful in promotingEntrepreneurial culture.

Understanding the difficulties involved in Starting a Business in India

Any business small or big needs a capital to start. If you’re in India and coming from a middle class background then it is quite obvious that you’ll be unable to amass sufficient cash to start a small business.

Hence, you’ve to look towards banks or other firms that can grant you some loan to start your business. Although there’re thousands of banks which ready to lend you cash.

But the problem is they’re reluctant to give to people who don’t have strong financial background.

If you’re starting a small business then people inyour area, town or city should know about it.

In order to advertise your business locally ,you’veto go through all sorts of thing.

Online advertising is quite expensive and beyondthe reach of many small business owners.

Thus, in the competition to expand your businessyou need to innovate new advertising techniques.But in India it’s restricted to big corporationsonly.

While under no circumstances, corruption canbe justified, it is a bitter truth that it is rampantin many government departments. Even privatesector is not spared by it. We have to make acollective effort to curb this social evil. As ithampers growth of the business, it is achallenge for budding entrepreneurs.

Lack of manufacturing capability in India hasbeen attributed to red tapism and corruption,but the low productivity of labour is also a bigfactor.

We can conclude that still reforms are neededto make an ideal environment for nurturingbusinesses. And to truly emerge as a idealeconomy for doing business, India needs to getrid of menaces like corruption, red tapism andanything which hampers growth & functioningof businesses.

Agile software development is a conceptual framework for software engineering that promotes development iterations throughout the life-cycle of the project.

Software developed during one unit of time is referred to as an iteration, which may last from one to four weeks.

Agile methods also emphasize working software as the primary measure of progress

Agile development provides opportunities to assess the direction throughout the development lifecycle. This is achieved through regular cadences of work, known as Sprints or iterations, at the end of which teams must present a potentially shippable product increment. By focusing on the repetition of abbreviated work cycles as well as the functional product they yield, agile methodology is described as “iterative” and “incremental.” In waterfall, development teams only have one chance to get each aspect of a project right. In an agile paradigm, every aspect of development —requirements, design, etc. — is continually revisited.
