DRESSING FOR
SUCCESSAPPROPRIATE BUSINESS ATTIRE FOR
FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA
Essential Question
What is standard professional attire and personal grooming for the
workplace?
FBLA-PBL NATIONAL DRESS CODE
FBLA-PBL members and advisers are expected tofollow the FBLA-PBL dress code. The purpose of the dress code is to uphold the professional image of the association and its members and to prepare students for the business world.
WHY DO WE HAVE A DRESS CODE? The dress code is intended to give FBLA members
guidelines on what is and isn’t universally appropriate business attire.
FBLA members must project the image of confident, professional future business leaders.
Members of FBLA are expected to “uphold the excellent image and behavior” of this organization, and this includes dressing appropriately.
Appropriate business attire is required for all general sessions, awards sessions, competitive events, and workshops for all conference attendees.
