• Social networking sites accused of drops in grades

• Most popular social networking website with over 500 million members.

• Massive number of members has caught the attention of the academic sector and also us.

The aims of this project are:• To investigate whether the amount of time spent on

Facebook affects the academic performance of Year 4 RI pupils.

• To find out the pupils opinions on whether using Facebook affects their grades.

• To find ways for students to manage their time better and reduce their time spent on Facebook.

• Currently, many students have problems getting their homework done or studying for their exams due to computer addiction.
