Doing What We Can
Colossians 3:23-24“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of
the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”
Eccl. 9:10 “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in
the grave, whither thou goest.”
Doing What We Can
We want to consider doing what we can according to our ability.
Often we think we have done all we are able to do.
But with a closer examination, we can find other talents.
Doing What We Can
I. We must act to the extent of our ability
Matthew 25:14-3016. “Then he that had received the five
talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17.
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18. But he that had received one went and digged in the
earth, and hid his lord's money.”
Doing What We Can
The talents were given according to ability – Matthew 25:15
Each servant received something. Each was to use his talent to the
fullest of ability. The two talent man was rewarded
the same as the five talent man.Two did – One didn’t!
Doing What We Can
